Chris, The ball is 2 5/16. You can get a brake controller installed in your truck. Pulling the trailer empty does not require a brake controller. The plug for trailer is a round 7 way which most of the new trucks with a towing package have on them. You can send a check to hold the trailer - I have 1 32' left in stock and in 4 weeks I will have 3 more. The balance will need to be paid before the trailer leaves.
